DEBORAH BENOIT

BENOIT, DEBORAH, 74, of West Warwick, passed away with her family by her side at home on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was the wife of Theodore “Ronnie” Benoit. 

Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Jill J. and Rita (Mulhearn) Fraza. 

Deborah grew up in Coventry, Rhode Island, and graduated from Coventry High School. A natural born caregiver, Deborah worked for many years as a Medical Secretary at Kent Hospital, Warwick and also at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Most recently before her retirement, Deb was a Waitress at Foxwoods Resort Casino. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and baking, spending time outdoors , and even liked to go fishing. She was a lifelong advocate and lover of all animals. Above all, anytime Deborah was spending time with her grandchildren is what she cherished most. 

She was the loving mother of Tad P. Hatfield, Christy L. Bessette, Ronald T. Benoit. Deborah was the adoring grandmother of Jessie, Alexandra, Devin, Connor, Teagan, and Jaxson. She was also the proud great grandmother of Jayden and Cole. Sister of Dale Fraza, Jill Dean Imler, and the late James Fraza. 

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 PM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry. Burial is respectfully private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
