DEBORAH HOGAN Obituary
DEBORAH G. (CHOQUETTE) HOGAN, 69, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Deborah was the loving wife of nearly 52 years to Stephen F. Hogan.
Born in Providence, Deborah was a daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Maher) Choquette.
A graduate of Cranston East High School, Deb married the love of her life, Stephen. The couple shared a lifetime of unconditional love raising their family together. Becoming a mother at a young age, Deb thrived at caring for her children and family. She was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Saints John & Paul Church, Coventry.
As a natural born caregiver, Deb spent her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Kent Hospital for 20 years and later moved on to Kent Primary Care for over two decades. Deb adored the doctors and coworkers she worked with, along with all of her patients.
Deborah was the loving mother of Sean Hogan, his wife Leah, of Cumberland, Jennifer Devlin, her husband Sean, of Warwick, and Jonathan Hogan of Warwick. Loving grandmother of Brooke, Samantha, and Kaitlyn. She was the sister of James Choquette (Dianne), Jean McMahon, Lisa Mansolillo (Tony), Michael Choquette (Cheryl), and the late Joseph Choquette, Robert Choquette, and Donald Choquette. Deb was the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Marie Hogan. She is also survived by her dear brother and sister-in-laws, many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and her lifelong best friend, Donna Lindstrom (Lea).
Deborah’s funeral will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 9:45 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home AT MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saints John and Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial with Committal Prayers to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Monday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
