DELINA L. (THERRIEN) HURTEAU

HURTEAU, DELINA L. (THERRIEN) age 94, of West Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Roland Hurteau in 2005. Born in Coventry, on August 4, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Hector W. and Emma M. (Martin) Therrien. 
 

Delina was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed for many years as a nurse assistant for the State of Rhode Island before retiring.

Delina loved to read, crochet, create ceramics, garden, camp and fish. But mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Delina was the mother of Linda Thooft; the grandmother of Amie Thooft, and the great-grandmother of Rose Thooft, all of West Greenwich. Delina was predeceased by her many siblings.

To honor Delina’s wishes, there will be no services and burial at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT  in Coventry. iannottifh.com
