DENNIS E. VADEBONCOEUR

VADEBONCOEUR, DENNIS E., 74, of Coventry, passed away with his loving family by his side, at the Steere House in Providence on Thursday, November 16, 2023. He was the husband of Marilyn (Sawyer) Vadeboncoeur for 52 years. Born in Westport, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Armand and Dorothy (Levesque) Vadeboncoeur.

Dennis grew up in Providence and moved to Cumberland when he married Marilyn. The couple resided in Cumberland for 49 years before moving to Coventry. Dennis was employed as a produce manager for Star Markets, Almacs and Shaws before retiring. Dennis loved to dance, and he will be fondly remembered for singing at family weddings his and Marilyn’s wedding song. Mostly he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

He was the father of Kevin Vadeboncoeur and his wife Emily of Alplaus, NY and Julie Dowhan and her husband Peter of West Greenwich. He was the proud grandfather of Noah, Lola, and Gus. Dennis was the brother of the late Armand Vadeboncoeur.

Visiting hours will be on Saturday morning, November 25, 2023 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a Memorial Service at 11 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The American Parkinson Disease Association Rhode Island Chapter, P.O. 114098, North Providence, RI 02911 would be appreciated.
