DIANA MAE (TOBEY) ROY

ROY, DIANA M. (TOBEY) 90, of North Kingstown, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Edward C. Roy Sr. in 2018. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Norman E. and Mary (Sheedy) Tobey. 

After graduating from High School, Diana attended the Rhode Island School of Design. In 1984, Diana established Diana Roy Limited, a respected interior design company well known throughout the East Coast.

She was the mother of Edward C. Roy Jr., Esq. and his wife Geralyn, Robert J. Roy, all of Coventry, Craig E. Roy (Lee) of Travelers Rest, SC., and the late Timothy M. Roy. Diana is also survived by her grandchildren; Brendan, Colin, Kirsten, Robert, Chandler, Connor, and great-grandchildren; Evelyn-Drew, Brooks, Charlie, and Annie-Claire. Diana was the grandmother of the late Erin C. Roy. Diana was the sister of the late Dorothy Ricci, Craig Tobey, William Tobey, and James Tobey.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm with a Memorial Service at 12:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. Inurnment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will follow.
