WARE, DIANA D. (BURKE), 85, passed away peacefully at the West Shore Health Center in Warwick on Sunday morning, September 14, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William M. Ware Sr. in 2016. They were married on December 30, 1973. Born in and raised in New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Marie (Foster) Burke.
Diana was dedicated to her family by working hard to provide the best for them. She worked in the hospitality industry employed at various restaurants throughout Rhode Island for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Diana was the caring mother of Donna Charron and her husband Raymond of Coventry, William Braley and his wife Yie Mee of Coventry, RI, Michael Ware and his partner Joel Lempicki of North Attleboro, MA, and the late John Braley. She was the adoring grandmother “Nana" of Marissa Braley, Crystal Braley and Janelle Charron-Campbell. Diana was the sister of the late Lois Polinick. The two of them shared many adventures together calling each other Lucy and Ethel. She was the loving fur grandma to her cat Toby.
To honor Diana’s wishes, Funeral Services and interment at Pawtuxet Memorial Park in Warwick will be private. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root in Coventry. iannottifh.com
