DIANE L. (RITCHOTTE) BELANGER

BELANGER, DIANE L. (RITCHOTTE) 87, formerly of Cypress Rd., Coventry, passed away at the West Shore Health Center, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, July 21, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband Richard R. “Dick” Belanger in September 2023. They were happily married for 65 years. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Loretta (Legault) Ritchotte.

Diane was employed for many years at Scott Laboratories in West Warwick. She was a dedicated parishioner of Saints John &  Paul Church. Diane enjoyed challenging herself by solving word search games, playing Bingo, reading, and watching movies, especially the horror genre. However, Diane mostly loved spending time with her family.

Diane was the mother of Joanne Belanger (Tom) of Tampa, Florida, Debbie Belanger of Warwick (Steve), and Ken Belanger (Lynn) of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Diane was the grandmother of the late Lauren Belanger. Diane was the sister of Madeline Pallas of Palm Springs, California, and the late Rudolph Ritchotte, Lorraine Bonefant and Lucille Marchessault.

Her Funeral will be Monday, July 28, 2025, at 10 am from the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are Sunday evening, July 27, 2025 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
