DONALD HALL Obituary

HALL, DONALD J., 73, of Coventry passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was the husband of Wendy E. (Marks) Hall. The couple recently celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Stanley V. and Catherine Irene (Coogan) Hall.


After graduating from Coventry High School in 1970, Donald served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Donald earned an Associate’s Degree from CCRI, and went on to graduate from Salve Regina University with a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science. He had a dedicated 30 plus year career as a Paramedic at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London Ct. before retiring in 2017. Donald served as interim Chief at the Western Coventry Fire Department. He also was a Special Police officer for five years with the Coventry Police Department. Donald was active with the Coventry Memorial VFW Post 9404. Donald was an accomplished water and snow skier. He was a Red Sox and Patriots fan.


He was the father of Joshua J. Hall of St. Petersburg, Florida and Sean M. Hall of Coventry. He was the grandfather of  Aaron J. Hall, Alexandra M. Hall and Kyla Lynn Moore. He was the brother of Douglas E. Hall (Melissa) of Venice, Florida, Dennis C. Hall of Coventry, and the late David A. Hall (Susan), Richard M. Hall, and Doreen E. Iacono (Anthony).


Per the family’s request all services and inurnment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root in Coventry. iannottifh.com
