DONALD JODOIN Obituary

COVENTRY- Donald H. Jodoin, 87, of Coventry, passed away on the morning of Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, in Cranston, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of his devoted family at his bedside. He was the dear and loving husband of the late Ruth T. (Vandal) Jodoin. Together, the two of them proudly raised a family of five children. Donald and Ruth were married for 62 years at the time of her passing on September 12, 2018.

Born on January 19, 1935, in Norwich, CT, he was one of three children born to the late Donat and Ida (Pelletier) Jodoin.

For many years, Donald worked as a Supervisor at Electric Boat. He was respect by his fellow colleagues for his work ethic and commitment to his job.

In his spare time, Donald enjoyed spending time on the golf course and playing cards. He was a lifelong New England sports fan, cheering for the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Above all, Donald was most happy when he was in the presence of and making memories with his loving family and friends.

Donald is survived by his children: Denise Jodoin of Pawtucket, Ann Marie Radick (late George Radick Jr.) of Lewisville, NC, Donna L. Lamoureux (David), Cheryl A. Samos (Arthur) and Kenneth G. Jodoin (Alice) all of Coventry; her eight grandchildren: Michelle, Nicole, Kyle, Jaimee, Jessica, Emily, Christine and Lee; his siblings: Leo Jodoin and Arlene Carroll; and also many friends and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, August 11, 2022  from 4:00-5:30, with a Memorial Service to immediately follow at The Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road,(Rt.3) Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
