DONALD E. PECK

PECK, DONALD E., 89, of West Kingston, Passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley M. (Andrews) Peck, who passed June 30, 2007. 

Born in Exeter, he was a son of the late A. Earl and Doris E. (Tefft) Peck.

Donald spent his career as a Heavy Equipment Operator for various construction firms throughout Rhode Island, most recently retiring from the West Greenwich Dept. of Public Works. 

Don was a former Fire Chief of the West Greenwich Volunteer Fire Company #1. In his spare time, Don enjoyed attending local fairs and tinkering on just about anything. 

Donald was the loving father of Donna Drew (Billy), Sandy Robinson (Jim Burrill), and the late Dale A. Peck. Grandfather of William Drew Jr., Michael Drew, Matthew Robinson, Keith Peck, and the late Brandon Robinson. He also is survived by several great grandchildren. Brother of the late Upton Peck, Thelma Quinn, Blanche Ducharme, Shirley Penmantel, and Lenore Allen.

Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry, RI.

Don’s Funeral Service will be Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home AT MAPLE ROOT, burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Coventry to follow. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
