San Antonio, Donald N., 86, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at HopeHealth Hospice Center, in Providence on Monday, May 12, 2025.
Born in Providence, Donald was a son of the late Nikola and Frances (Lavena) San Antonio.
Growing up in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Providence, Donald competed as an amateur boxer before proudly serving his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Before returning home to Rhode Island in 2022, Donald lived in Florida since 1986. He was a lifelong baseball fan, and the Boston Red Sox was his favorite team. Donald enjoyed the simple things in life, and appreciated the company of his Chihuahua, Rosalie. He worked as a toolmaker at Speidel, Textron, and American Jewelry Chain. He will truly be missed.
Donald was the father of Donald J. San Antonio, his wife Lori, of Coventry. He was the brother of George San Antonio, his wife Josephine, of North Providence. Donald is also survived by his lifelong dear friend, Shirley J. (Charkjian) San Antonio.
Funeral Services at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private. Arrangements are by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
