DONALD F. SCHULER

SCHULER, DONALD F., 69, of Coventry, RI passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, January, 25, 2022. Born in Hollis, Queens, NY to loving parents, the late Robert E. Schuler and Grace H. (Hellert) Schuler. Raised on Long Island, NY in the town of Wantagh - gateway to Jones Beach. He worked for the County of Nassau at Cedar Creek for over 37 years and retired to Rhode Island to live on the water and enjoy retirement on his boats. He is survived by so many that loved him. Beloved Husband of Virginia M. (Pastor) Schuler for over 43 years. Devoted Father of Christopher M., and father-in-law to Jodie M. Schuler of Coventry, RI. Loving Pop-Pop to Christopher M. and Leah M. Schuler. Brother to Robert E. Schuler of Phoenix AZ, Dale Roberts of Florida, and little sister Lee Dallaglio of East Northport, NY. Cousin to Gayle Hellert of Sherburne, NY. Daddy to his little Lucy dog. He was a saltwater aquarium enthusiast for his entire life, and an animal lover to all animals big and small. He enjoyed boating, gardening, babysitting, the ocean, good food, action movies, strong drinks, good company, and the hot sun. Always looking up, Donny lived a rich life surrounded by love and laughter. 

His funeral will be on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10 am from the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.95, exit 6, Rte.3) Coventry, RI. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Visiting hours are Sunday evening from 4 pm to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donald F.
