DONNA LOUISE (BABCOCK) ROCCHIO

ROCCHIO, DONNA L. (BABCOCK), 66, of Town Farm Rd., Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital on Monday, July 24, 2023. She was the beloved wife of William W. Rocchio. The couple recently celebrated their forty-fifth wedding anniversary. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Louise M. (Ferreira) Babcock.

Donna graduated from Coventry High School, class of 1975. She went on to employment at Kent Hospital as a Lab Technician for 40 years before retiring in 2012. Donna loved sail boating on Narragansett Bay. She also enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. Donna was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. She was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Donna was the mother of Ryan A. Rocchio and his wife Rachel of Foster and Christoher W. Rocchio (Sgt. Norfolk, VA Police Dept.) and his fiancee Jennifer of Virginia Beach, VA. She was the grandmother of Zachari and Emilee. Donna was the sister of Cheryl Ledoux (Ronald) of Charlotte, NC, William A. Babcock of Coventry, and Roy Babcock (Jennifer) of Lisbon, CT.

At the family’s request, Funeral Services and interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich were private. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
