DORIS DEERY Obituary

DEERY, Doris M. (LaPlante), 90, formerly of Pembroke Lane, Coventry, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Respiratory & Rehabilitation Center of RI in Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew J. Deery.

Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Louis “Louie” and Yvonne (Dandaneau) LaPLante.

She is survived by her loving children, Richard A. Deery and his wife Janice Gil of Coventry, Kathleen Raboin and her husband Robert of West Greenwich, Patricia Griffin and husband Gerald of Cumberland, Cynthia Maheu and her husband Ernest of Coventry and Lisa Boynton and her fiancé Clifford Ross of Coventry; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a sister, Jeannette Whittier of Exeter. She was a sister of the late Andre, Robert and Richard LaPlante.

Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, her funeral and burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery were private for the family.
