DORIS (NOEL) HUGHES

HUGHES, DORIS, 78, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was the beloved wife of nearly 48 years to Richard Hughes. 

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Donat and Claire (Aubin) Noel. 

Doris enjoyed taking camping trips with her family around New England. She enjoyed playing cards, but above all, anytime spent with her family was what Doris cherished most.  

Aside from her husband, Doris is survived by her daughters, Lisa Hughes of Myakka City, FL and Tracy Lewis and her husband Cameron of New London, CT, and the late Sharon Madden. Grandmother of Devin Savard of Myakka City, FL. She was the sister of Pauline Zuena of Cumberland, RI. 

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 70 Church St., West Warwick.  Interment and committal prayers at St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Warwick.
