DORIS E. ZUFFOLETTI

COVENTRY- Doris E. Zuffoletti, 95, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Peter F. Zuffoletti.

Born on March 2, 1926, in North Chatham, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mathis and Evelyn L. (Aldom) Matheson.

Doris worked for many years as a Home Healthcare Nurse. With a passion for helping people, she excelled at her job, providing the utmost care and attention to her patients.

In her spare time, Doris enjoyed knitting and baking delicious treats for all to eat. She treasured spending time with her husband at their home in Winterhaven, Florida, especially their many adventures driving up in down the East Coast from Rhode Island to Florida. Above all, Doris enjoyed the time spent and memories made with her cherished family.

Doris was the caring mother to: Nancy and Susan Zuffoletti and the late Donna Winter. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Wendy Sacchetti; Heidi Coleman; Gretta Brito; Peter Harrison; Kara Guerette; Jill Chevian; Sadie Gregson; Katy Harrison; and Mindy Gregson. Doris is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great—great-grandchildren; her son-in-law: Charles Winter, Sr.; and also, many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Service at 11:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at Maple Root, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,  (Rte.3) Coventry. Interment to follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
