DOROTHY PHILOMENA (NANNI) CIPRIANO

CIPRIANO, DOROTHY P. (NANNI) age 104, formerly of East Providence, passed peacefully on Sunday July 4, 2021 at The Miriam Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years; Albert H. Cipriano in 1993. Born in Providence, on April 20, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Evaristo and Giuseppina (Tedeschi) Nanni.

Dorothy had been a manager at the former Carol Cable Company in Pawtucket before retiring.

For many years, Dorothy enjoyed serving Sunday dinners for her family.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Albert H. Cipriano Jr. and his wife Patricia of Warwick; granddaughters; Kimberly Cipriano of Smithfield, Laurie Cipriano and her partner Timothy O’Hara of Arlington, VA and many nieces & nephews, especially Marianne Steere of Warwick. Dorothy was the sister of the late Elena Capuano, Josephine Manfredi, Vincent Nanni, Olga O’Connell and Yolanda Ricci-Marotto.

Dorothy’s family would like to thank the staff of Darlington Assisted Living in Pawtucket for the attentive and loving care bestowed to Dorothy these past several months.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11 am in Sacred Heart Church, 118 Taunton Ave., East Providence. A visitation at Sacred Heart Church prior to Mass will be from 10 am – 11 am. Interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
