PADULA, DOROTHY M. (CORREIA) 89, of West Warwick, past peacefully at her daughter Caroline A. Dion and son-in-law Charles D. Dion’s home in West Greenwich on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Ralph E. Padula. Born in West Warwick, April 29, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Braga) Correia.
Dorothy was employed at the former “Phenix Assembly” School House Candy in Coventry from 1972 to 1976. She was a former communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she belonged to the Saint Ann Sodality of Sacred Heart Church.
Besides her daughter Caroline and son-in-law Charles, she leaves a grandson Zachary C. Dion of West Greenwich. Dorothy was the sister of the late Mary Brodeur, Laura Machado, William Correia and Armand Correia.
A visiting hour will be Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Saint Anthony Church, 1 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private for the family. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry.
