PELOSO, DOROTHY F., 99, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully at West View Nursing Home, West Warwick on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late Raymond E. Peloso, who predeceased her in 2007.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Pierre and Rose Alma (Frechette) Nadeau.
Always a woman of strong faith, Dorothy was an active parishioner at the former St. William’s Church, Warwick. She enjoyed weekly Ballroom Dancing with her late husband Ray, music of all kinds, especially polkas and “Big Band”, and was an accomplished seamstress. Wherever she was, “Dottie” always loved being surrounded by family and the sounds of music.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Steven E. Peloso of Corona Del Mar, CA and Alan P. Peloso of Warwick and Fern Johnson, his fiancée, a daughter, Paula M. Ross, her husband Robert Ross of Coventry. Grandmother of Zachary, Brianna, Austin, Nicolas, and Ryan; great grandmother of Bennett and Lucas. She was the sister of Alboma Matuza, Rita Levesque, and Anita Brule.
Funeral services and burial at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter are respectfully private.
