DOUGLAS LaROSE

LaROSE, DOUGLAS G., 88, of Greene, passed away at Kent Hospital, Warwick on Monday, November 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband of nearly 71 years to Patricia (Jones) LaRose. 

Born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Doug was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Robertson) Mills. 

After graduating from High School, Doug and his family moved to Rhode Island where he has owned and operated Taylor Rentals in Warwick since 1972. In his spare time, Doug loved being outside in nature. Some of his favorite memories were made exploring the Escoheag Trails, traversing the landscape on horseback with his wife Patricia by his side. Above all, anytime he was spending with his family is what Doug cherished most. He will be truly missed.   

Besides his wife Patricia, Doug is survived by his sons, Kenneth LaRose, Kevin LaRose, Kerry LaRose, and John “Chris” Larson. Grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 2. 

Funeral Services are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Doug’s memory to a charity of your choice.
