E. JOSEPH "JOE" GIGUERE

GIGUERE, E. JOSEPH “JOE”, 73, of Coventry, passed away at the Hope Hospice in Providence, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was the husband of Nancy H. (Sorell) Giguere. The couple met in 1984, and married in 1991. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Estelle (Daniel) Giguere-Pomes.

Joe was raised in Woonsocket and later North Smithfield, before settling in Coventry. Joe was the proprietor of the J & M Roofing Company which he established in 1970. Joe enjoyed his family, especially his three grandchildren Logan, Liam and Abbie. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. He also was an avid horse racing fan and a New England Patriots fan. Joe had been a friend of Bill W. for over 37 years.

Joe was the father of Jessica Gemma (Danny Edmiston) and Michelle Brennan. He was the brother of Joyce Kurek and Gerald Pomes. 

Visiting hours will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry.
