EMIRO M. "TOM" COLASANTO

COLASANTO, EMIRO M. “TOM”, 78, of North Kingstown and formerly of Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years Anita L. (Ferri) Colasanto in February 2019.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Valentino and Doris (Lonardo) Colasanto.

Throughout his life Tom was very hard working and goal orientated to achieve. For the past 15 years, Tom was the Chief Executive Officer of Tamarack Technologies in West Wareham, MA. He previously was the Vice President of Sales at the former Victor Electric in Coventry, and later the Victor Corporation.

Tom enjoyed traveling both for work and leisure. He loved to golf, time spent in North Carolina, and cooking and entertaining for his family.

He was the father of Valerie C. Bishop and her husband Gregory, and Anne C. Barter and her husband Steven, all of Hope Valley.  Tom was the grandfather of Ashley Bishop, Zachary Bishop, and Sarah Barter.

He was the brother of Valentino Colasanto of Lincoln, Sandra Lennon of Norfolk, MA., Lawrence Colasanto of Warwick, Denise Colasanto of Amesbury, MA, and the late Robert Colasanto.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 10 am in the Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence, RI. Interment at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation ( www.kidney.org ) would be appreciated.
