ERNEST J. FOURNIER

FOURNIER, ERNEST J., 79, of West Warwick, passed away at Kent Hospital on Thursday evening, July 31, 2025. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alcide and Cecile (Lafond) Fournier.

After graduating from high school, Ernest worked in the electronics industry for many years. He had the expertise to fix and repair many different types of electronic devices, especially when working on computers. His skills in electronics enabled him to assist his many friends when they needed technical support. Ernest most recently worked in maintenance for the Marriott Residence Inn. 

Ernest enjoyed riding his bicycle around the state, but what he loved most was sharing meals with friends at Gel’s Kitchen in West Warwick.

Ernest will be sorely missed by his extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10 am in Saints John & James Church, 20 Washington St., West Warwick. Interment in the Parish Cemetery; St. Joseph Cemetery in West Warwick to follow. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry. iannottifh.com
