ETHEL BLIVEN Obituary

BLIVEN, ETHEL R., died at the age of 96 at Brentwood by the Bay Assisted Living after living a long and fulfilling life. She was the wife of William A. Bliven to whom she was married for 50 years before his death 25 years ago.

She was born in Orwigsburg, PA, the daughter of Homer and Clara Faust. She was the sister of the late Mabel Nagle, Ida Baver, Robert, Allen, and Adam Faust, all of PA.

Family, faith, and hard work were most important to her. Her kind and giving nature reflected in all she did. She was a skilled baker, cook, seamstress, gardener, floral designer, crafter, avid reader and so much more.

She loved travelling with friends and family and she enjoyed long walks daily.

Over the years she enjoyed friendships through the Coventry Senior Center, the Coventry Library and the Church of the Apostles in Coventry.

She was the mother of Karen J. Fecteau and her husband Kenneth of Coventry, RI and William A. Bliven Jr. and his wife Robin of Wilmington, MA. Ethel was the grandmother of three, Bryan Fecteau (Karen), Gregory Fecteau (Jessica), and Tabitha Heidorn (Scott). She was blessed with 6 great grandchildren, Emily, Clara, Tyler, and Alexander Fecteau and Whitney and Matthew Heidorn.

She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Funeral services and burial will be private.
