SQUADRITO, EVELYN G. (CASSELLA) 96, of Clifton Avenue, Coventry, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Philip J. Squadrito in 2011. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Ida (Parrillo) Cassella.
Evelyn was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend to all. She radiated an exuberant warmth and welcoming spirit. She was a great listener and generous with her time, words, and love. She lived her life with excitement, cheerfulness and fun. If you were with her you knew you would be in for a good time. She couldn't contain her energy and liveliness nor resist moving and dancing whenever she heard music, even in the grocery stores. Evelyn believed life was an adventure and wanted you to come along for the ride. She loved people and this feeling resonated in all who were around her. Her task wasn't finished until she nurtured you with warm hugs. Her love and spirit will truly be missed by all.
Evelyn was the mother of Robert Squadrito of Coventry, Judy A. Hulting of Cranston and the late Philip J. Squadrito. Evelyn was the eleventh child of thirteen siblings. She was the sister of the late Paul Cassella, Phyliss Regine, Bernice Fitzgerald, Carl Cassella, Louis Cassella, infant girl Mary, Mary Natale, Jean Luther, infant boy Anthony, Theresa Senecal, Dolores Palmier and Anthony Cassella. Evelyn is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting Hours will be Friday evening, November 22, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 6:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (I95/Exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. Committal Prayers will be held on Monday morning, November 25, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Saint Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
