FANNY MOORE Obituary

MOORE, FANNY BELLE (McCALLUM) 94, of Princess Avenue, Cranston, passed away peacefully, at the Brentwood Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, January 24, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil E. Moore Sr. in 1990. Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Gertrude (Cosgrove) McCallum.

 

Fanny was employed as an assembler in the RI jewelry manufacturing industry for 50 years before retiring in 1991. Fanny had been a resident of Glocester before moving to Cranston.

 

She was the mother of Cecil E. Moore Jr. of Greene, Doris M. Del Signore of Cranston, Peggy A. Moore-Greene, also of Cranston, Robin Campos of Estero, Florida, and the late Carol L. Cullen. Fanny was the sister of Ernest McCallum of East Greenwich. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

 

Visiting hours will be Monday evening, January 27, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated. iannottifh.com
