FRANCES S. CHIELLO

COVENTRY- Frances S. Chiello, 89, of Coventry, formerly of West Warwick, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. She was the devoted wife of the late John E. Chiello, who passed away on December 22, 1989.

Born on April 24, 1933, in Providence, she was one of two daughters born to the late Andrew and Evelyn (Gereau) Larocque. 

A kind and gentle woman, Frances worked for many years the St. Elizabeth Home when it was located in Providence. She ensured that that the residents she was responsible for received the utmost care. Frances well deservedly retired in 1996. 

In her spare time, Frances enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and gardening in her younger years. Above all, she treasured the time spent and memories made with her dear family. 

Frances is survived by her two cherished children: Shirley A. Arruda and her husband Mark of Tiverton and Antony A. Chiello and his companion Deborah Williams of West Warwick; her three grandchildren: Angela Chiello, Melissa Chiello, and Anthony A. “TJ” Chiello and his companion Brittany Ritchie; her baby great-granddaughter: Abbitha Chiello; her daughter-in-laws: Melanie Chiello and Ann-Marie Chiello; and also extended family members and friends.

 In addition to her parents and husband, Frances is predeceased  by her son: John E. Chiello and her sister: Evelyn Cottle. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 11:00am in the chapel of St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
