FRANZONE, FRANK L., 83, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 28 years, the late Joanne (Comello) Franzone.
Born in Providence, Frank was a son of the late Liberatino and Maria (Messina) Franzone.
Frank grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and was a graduate of Central High School. He spent his 30 year career in manufacturing for the Maro Display Company. A natural born performer, Frank was the singer of the popular Rhode Island based oldies band “Changing Times” for three decades. Aside from his love of music, Frank also enjoyed watching Western movies and television shows. Above all, time spent with his family, especially his granddaughter Amanda, is what Frank cherished most.
Frank was the stepfather of Angela M. Mulvey, her husband Gregory of Coventry; adoring grandfather of Amanda Ellis and her husband Tyler. He was the brother of Jeanette Barry and Maria Franzone.
