FRANK PALOMBO

PALOMBO, FRANK, 82, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at the HopeHealth Hospice Center, Providence on Thursday, July 25, 2024. He was the loving husband of 56 years to the late Sylvia Palombo.  Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late John and Betty (Blasko) Palombo. 

Frank and his wife Sylvia, owned and operated Sylvia’s Upholstery for over 35 years before their retirement. He was a lifelong outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing in his younger years and was also an avid hunter and accomplished marksman. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and always being there for anyone who may have needed a helping hand. Above all, Frank loved his family and watched over all who he loved. 

He was the loving father of Angela Raiche, her husband John, of Coventry, and Andrea Downie, her husband Arthur, Youngstown, New York. Loving Grandfather of Benjamin Raiche, his fiance Tanja, of Coventry. He was the brother of Carol Fisher, her husband Richard, of Moosup, CT, Joseph Palombo, his wife Eileen, of North Kingstown, and the late Robert Palombo. Frank is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, with a Funeral Service to commence at 10:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home AT MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (Route 3), Coventry. Burial and committal prayers to follow at All Hallows Cemetery, Moosup, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Frank’s memory to HopeHealth Hospice (www.hopehealthco.org) would be appreciated.
