GABE THOMAS SAVINO

SAVINO, GABE, 57, of Coventry passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Providence, he was a son of Edward A. Savino   and his longtime companion Donna Sullivan of Chepachet and Kathleen A. (Craddy) Savino and her companion Roger R. “Butch” Latour of Coventry.

Gabe graduated from Coventry High School in 1987. He went on to employment for American Power Conversion, before working in shipping and receiving for Ocean State Job Lot for the last 15 years.

Gabe was an avid movie buff, two of his all time favorites were “Jaws” and “The Hunt for Red October.” Gabe had a keen interest in NASCAR as well. He also enjoyed waterskiing on Keech Pond in Glocester. Gabe loved meeting at Dunkin Donuts with his friends and drinking coffee daily. Above all, Gabe loved spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephew. 

Gabe was the brother of Joseph E. Savino and his fiance Laura Blume of West Greenwich and Brian D. Savino and his wife Mandy of Chepachet. Gabe was the caring uncle of Joshua S. Savino and Haylee A. Savino.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Memorial Service at 6:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
