PICARD, GABRIEL A., 85, of West Warwick and formerly Coventry, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Kent Regency, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Henriette Picard.
Born in West Warwick, Gabriel was a son of the late Gabriel and Blanche (Perkins) Picard.
As a young man, Gabriel proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he was a Staff Sergeant, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War. After his Honorable Discharge, Gabriel then went on to spend a 25 year career as a Chef at Disney World, Orlando before he moved back home to Rhode Island. In his free time, Gabe found solace on the water. He enjoyed salt water fishing and boating with his loved ones.
He is survived by his daughter, Gina Picard, of California. Brother of Claire Rapose, Irene Gauvin, and the late Theresa Lawrence. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services and burial at Glen Haven Cemetery, FL is respectfully private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
