GAYLE K. JURCZYK

JURCZYK, GAYLE K., 78, passed away peacefully at the Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, North Kingstown on Thursday, November 13, 2025. 

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Katherine (Taylor) Jurczyk.  

Always striving to learn, Gayle graduated from Coventry High School before earning her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Rhode Island. She then furthered her education, completing her Doctorate in Physics from the University of Connecticut. She spent her career as a Collegiate Professor at universities and colleges throughout the region. She enjoyed reading and was skilled in the art of needlepoint, having embroidered countless canvases throughout the years. 

Gayle is survived by her loving brothers, Stephen Jurczyk of Coventry, RI and Richard Jurczyk, his wife Carol, of West Kingston, RI.  

Funeral Services are respectfully private.
