YEREMIAN, GERALD “GEORGE,” 75, of West Warwick, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the devoted husband of the late Ann Marie (Pandolfini) Yeremian.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Pacheco) Yeremian.
Growing up in Providence’s Smith Hill neighborhood, Gerald graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. He proudly served his country as a Navy Airman aboard the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal in the Mediterranean. For over forty years, Gerald managed Finest Car Wash in Providence.
Gerald was known for his warmth, humor, and an ever-present smile. His selflessness and dedication to his family and friends were unmatched. He taught the value of hard work, loyalty, and resilience, living by example and inspiring those around him. His family remembers him as a strong, loving man who always put others first and faced life’s challenges with quiet determination.
Father of Cheryl McNally, her husband T.J.; Chad Yeremian; Jeremy Yeremian, his wife Valeria; Shawn Yeremian, his wife Sanka; and Gerald Yeremian II, his wife Alicia. Loving grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of one. Brother of Carol Woodward and the late Peter Yeremian.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry. Inurnment with military funeral honors to follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Rest easy, Dad; your strength and love will remain in the hearts of those who knew you.
