GERTRUDE F. (LEMOI) SANTILLI

SANTILLI, GERTRUDE F. (LEMOI), 90, formerly of Sherwood Valley Lane, Coventry, passed away with her loving family by her side at the Hope Health Hospice in Providence, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Nicola D. Santilli in 2016. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Valerien) Lemoi.

Gertrude was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, baking and tending to her flower gardens. She was employed in Dietary Services at Kent Hospital for over 10 years before retiring in 1998. She previously was employed at Stanley-Bostitch for several years.

Gertrude was the mother of Steven N. Santilli and his wife Kimberly of Coventry, Debra M. Luciano and her husband Gerald of Warwick, and Karen A. Santilli of Smithfield. She was the grandmother of Lisa Luciano, Nathan Luciano, Stephanie Lomas, Laura Luciano and Nicholas Santilli; and the great-grandmother of Jacob Lomas, Ava Luciano, Emme Luciano, Ethan Lomas, Sienna Santilli and Wyatt Santilli. Gertrude was the sister of Rita R. Bowen of Hope, and the late Raymond, Norman, and Roger Lemoi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be on Monday morning, August 25, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (I95,exit 18, Rte.3) Coventry. Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich. Visiting hours are Sunday evening, August 24, 2025 from 4 pm - 7 pm. iannottifh.com
