GUY STEVEN MENARD

MENARD, GUY STEVEN,  59, of Coventry, passed away at the Greenwood Center in Warwick, on Monday, October 13, 2025. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen J. (Szczsponik) Menard in 2016.  Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Carol F. (Stevens) Sabella of Woodstock, CT. and the late William Menard.

Guy graduated from Mount Saint Charles Academy in 1984. He went on to  earn a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Rhode Island in 1993. Most recently, Guy was employed as a production scheduler at Seaside Casual Furniture in Coventry. Guy enjoyed camping with his late wife Kathleen, following Major League Baseball, and also the Providence Bruins Hockey team. 

He was the brother of Donna L. Schulze (Albert) of Florida, Michele Alaire (Phillip) of CT., and Diane Verrocchio of Woodstock, CT. Guy is also survived by many nieces and nephews including his godson Brendan P. Connole; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Committal Service on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10 am in Saint Joseph Cemetery, 959 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry. iannottifh.com
