HELEN MARILYN (MCNAMEE) ANDREWS

ANDREWS, HELEN M. (MCNAMEE) of Coventry, passed away with her loving family by her side, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island. She was the wife of Robert H. Andrews. The couple were married 68 years on February 2, 2026. Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Alexander P. and Mary L. (Coningford) McNamee. 

Helen was the proprietor of the former Ram Jewelry Company in West Warwick. She was a self-employed jewelry contractor for over twenty years. Helen later earned her CDL license and with her husband, and operated a long distance tractor-trailer trucking company which hauled goods from coast to coast for over seven years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

Helen was predeceased by her daughter Patricia L. Lizotte in December 2018. She was the foster mother of James Quirk of Florida. Helen was the grandmother of Brandon R. Lizotte, Garret A. Lizotte and his wife Mackenzie, and Aaron D. Lizotte and his wife Julia; and the great-grandmother of Garret Jr., Matilda, Philippa, Marigold, Gabriel, Naomi and Benjamin. Helen was the mother-in-law of Norman A. Lizotte of Virginia. She was the sister of Esther Ramaglia, Joan Kabbas, Ethel Arpin, and the late Mildred Josephson, Eleanor Carrol, Evelyn Bates, Jean Roccio, June Keenan, Beverly, Alfred, Raymond, Thomas and George McNamee. Helen is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Visiting hour will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (I95/Exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. Interment at Highland Memorial Park in Johnston to follow. Please omit flowers. iannottifh.com
