HENRY LOZIER JR. Obituary

HENRY LOZIER JR., 92, of Gervais Street, Coventry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lorraine (Theroux) Lozier for 64 years. Born in Fort Kent, Maine, he was a son of the late Honore and Roseanna (Daigle) Lozier. 


Upon graduating from High School, Henry served in the US Army during the Korean War. After an honorable discharge, Henry went on to graduate from the New England Barber School in Boston, Massachusetts in 1956. His career began at a barber shop in Whitman, MA, and soon after Henry met his future wife on a blind date. The couple wed on July 4, 1960. Henry was employed at Louie's Barber Shop in the Conimicut section of Warwick. He retired in 2012 after 51 years of dedicated service. Henry was mechanically inclined. He loved to tinker. Always  curious on how things operated, he would often take things apart and reassemble the particular item. 


He was the father of Andrew H. Lozier and his wife Andrea of Coventry; and the grandfather of twins Sean and Megan Lozier. Henry was the brother of Nilda Poe’Sepp of Bridgewater, MA and the late Eugene Lozier, Norman Lozier, Lorenzo Lozier, Rosaire Lozier, Omer Lozier, Howard Lozier, Lillian, Cora, Yvette and Anne Marie. Henry is also survived by many nieces and nephews.


Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday morning, December 14, 2024 from 8:30 am - 10:15 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial followed by Military Honors at 11 am in Saint Vincent de Paul Church, Coventry.
