HERBERT "Herb" JOSEPH PIMENTAL

PIMENTAL, Herbert J. “Herb”, 50, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on, Friday, July 5, 2019.  He was the loving and devoted son of Manuel and Annemarie (Rhodes) Pimental with whom he lived his whole life and helped care for them.

He also leaves a sister, Deborah Kenahan and her husband Tim of West Warwick and brother, Manuel Pimental Jr. and his wife Amaris of Florida. He was uncle to Shane Pimental of Utah, Nicole and Allison Pimental of Florida and Casey Dubay of Maine.  He had 8 great nieces and nephews.

Herb was the beloved companion of Sherry Champlin.  They reconnected a few years back and quickly became kindred spirits.  They were devoted to each other and her three daughters.  Together they made many wonderful new memories, and reminisced of old.

Herb was currently working for the Coventry School Department.  Previously, Herb worked for many years at Coventry Health Center and Scallop Shell Nursing Home.  He was an avid baseball and NASCAR fan, loved his collectables and spending time in the yard with his mother.  He will be deeply missed by his parents, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 pm.  Burial will be private.  Following the funeral service, Herb’s family invites everyone to join them at the Harris Bar & Grille, 666 Main St., Coventry to continue to celebrate Herb’s life.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association RI Chapter, 1 State St., Suite 200, Providence, RI 02908 or the St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place., Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be appreciated.
