INEZ RUTH (KINGSBOROUGH) COLE

COLE, INEZ R. (KINGSBOROUGH) 85, of the Hope section of Coventry, passed away at the Riverview Healthcare Community on Monday, June 2, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband Norman E. Cole in 2006. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Harreit (Covill) Kingsborough.
Inez was employed in the Coventry School System as a Teacher Assistant and a Bus Driver for over twenty years. She later operated a bus for Project Friends based at the Coventry Senior Center for ten years before retiring. Inez happily worked into her seventies.

Inez enjoyed bowling and playing in several leagues. However, most of her free time was dedicated to her enjoyment of spending time with family.

She was the mother of Andrew A. Colvin and his wife Lori of Moosup, CT., Julie A. Cone, Glenna J. Forsythe and her husband William, and Nancy L. Lachapelle and her husband Peter, all of Hope. Inez was the sister of Everett Kingsborough and his wife Susie of Coventry, and the late Carrie Cole and David Kingsborough and his late wife Mary. Inez is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Inez was predeceased by one grandson, and her son-in-law Donald A. Cone.

Visiting hours will be Monday morning, June 9, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:15 am with a Funeral Service at 11:15 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. iannottifh.com
