IRMA F. ANDREWS

ANDREWS, IRMA F., 97, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at Westerly Hospital on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Earl R. and Gladys (Goff) Hawkins. 

Irma was raised in East Providence and then moved to Fiskville, a small village in Cranston, Rhode Island. Before ultimately returning to Rhode Island, and settling in Coventry, Irma relocated to Arizona for 33 years. 

She was a gifted artist in many mediums, having mostly concentrated in sculpture and oil paintings. Irma’s artistic ability lent her to being commissioned by archaeologists, illustrating dig sites throughout the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico. Irma was a lifelong lover of animals, having owned and cared for many horses and dogs throughout her life. She will truly be missed.   

Irma was the loving mother of Scott H. Andrews, his wife Lynn, and Russell Andrews. She was the loving grandmother of Sarah Morgan and Laura Andrews; great grandmother of five. She was the sister of the late Goff Hawkins and Donald Hawkins.  

Funeral Services and burial are respectfully private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
