JAMES A. DORSEY

DORSEY, JAMES A., 70, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at his home in West Warwick, Rhode Island. 

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas James was a son of the late William S. and Mary Claire (McElroy) Dorsey. 

James grew up in West Warwick, Rhode Island and was a graduate of West Warwick High School. He worked for many years at Cranston Print Works before becoming a Textile Supervisor for various companies throughout the region. Whether hunting, fishing, or training his dogs, James loved being outdoors in nature. His pleasant and friendly disposition will be missed by all who knew him. 

James is survived by his beloved son, Jeffery Dorsey. He was the brother of Janice Guindon, Judy Wild, Jody Boucher, Jackie Corea, and the late William Dorsey Jr., and Virginia Sosnicki. James is also survived by his former wife and dear friend, Donna Dorsey, his many loving nieces and nephews, and his faithful feline companion, “Blackjack”.
