JAMES LEODORE FIELDS

FIELDS, JAMES L., 77, of Apache Court, West Greenwich, passed away at Kent Hospital, on Friday, January 15, 2021. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Helen J. (Studley) Fields.

James was employed at the former Mosley’s Textile Mills in West Warwick for many years. He later worked as a gas station attendant for several area stations before retiring. James liked playing cards with his family and friends, and also going to Bingo halls with his close friends. He loved listening to Country music and attending Summer Concerts.

He was the brother of Rita M. Lineham of Coventry, and Catherine R. Dion and her husband Emile of West Greenwich, and the late Anna Duquette, Dorothy Finnerty-Dion, Joseph Fields, Thomas Fields, and twin brother John Fields. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the Pandemic, Services and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick will be private. Arrangements are with Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
