JAMES F. JEFF Jr.

JEFF, James F. 65, of Post. Rd. North Kingstown, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 13th, 2020. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Helen A (Andrukiewicz) Jeff. He was born in Providence, RI to the late James F Jeff Sr. and Barbara (Houlker) Jeff. He also leaves his children, James F. Jeff III of West Warwick, Melinda Pacheco of Warwick, Robert Jeff of Connecticut, Koren Kreuter of North Carolina, Karlene Kreuter of Warwick, Kerri Giannangelo of Texas, and 7 grandchildren. 

Jimmy was a very caring and thoughtful person, who offered his help to any and every person he could. He often put the needs of others ahead of his own. He selflessly looked after both of his parents through challenging medical conditions to guarantee that they received the very best care. This was evident in his tireless efforts to ensure his mother Barbara made it to her grandchildren’s hockey games, family functions, and finally her husband’s funeral service in a stretcher he loaned from a local fire department. 

His lifelong passions included playing guitar and drums, and watching every movie he could. His children shared his passion for movies, and spent many a family function quoting their favorite movies. He also cherished his time with his pets. His newest fur babies Deeks, Kenzie, and Callie were always cuddled around him on the couch as he recovered from his many surgeries. His greatest passion though was his grandchildren, whom he spent as much time with as his condition would allow. His newest grandchild Isabella brought a smile to his face despite his worsening condition. He loved her and all of his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. 

He is now finally at peace. Jimmy’s favorite character in the movie Good Fellas said it best when he was around...”...I’m here to make you laugh...” and always remind us of him. He will be sorely missed... 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry, RI.  In lieu of flowers, donations in James’ name can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF.ORG).
