JANET G. GREENWOOD

GREENWOOD, JANET G., 73, of Coventry, formerly of Irvington, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Timothy J. Greenwood, with whom they shared 50 loving years. 

Born in Kilmarnock, Virginia, Janet was a daughter of Jeter and Ruby (Cockrell) Gaskins. Sister of the late Russell Gaskins and Lynn Flynt.  

Before moving to Coventry, Janet spent the majority of her life in Irvington, Virginia. After graduating from Lancaster High School, Janet went on to spend her career as a secretary working in Medical Offices where she always went above and beyond. She enjoyed spending time tending to her garden and cooking for her loved ones. Janet also had a special place in her heart for her cats.  

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
