JANET ST. JEAN Obituary
Janet Florean St. Jean (Quinn), age 83, of Coventry, RI, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was the wife of Joseph H. A. St. Jean, having just celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Splitting her time between RI and Naples, FL, Janet was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a 1956 graduate of Coventry High School. Post high school, she worked for Pan Am and TWA airlines as a Flight Attendant. She enjoyed collecting nutcrackers and seashells, and was well known for her beautiful home-made wreaths and wonderful holiday parties.
Throughout her life, she was an active member of The Emblem Club of the Elks Lodge #2285, and the USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 76. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, gardening, entertaining, boating, traveling, swimming, and playing tennis.
Janet is survived by her three children, Joseph A. (wife Nancy), James (wife Melanie) and Donna; her seven grandchildren, Grant (wife Stephanie), Chloe (husband Brady), Kayla, Joel, Dylan (fiancé Monica), Nicole and Noël; a great-grandson, Colin; and a brother Robert. Janet is predeceased by her parents, James and Iona Quinn and her brother James Jr. Funeral services will be private at her request.
