JAY BRACKETT Obituary

 

 

BRACKETT, JAY A. “JAYBIRD” 47, of Pawtucket and formerly of West Warwick, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, a son of the late Ronald A. and Margaret Mary (Spencer) Brackett.

 

Jay graduated from West Warwick High School in 1992. He went on to employment as a carpenter at Heartland Sheds formerly in Warwick for many years. Jay was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed listening to music.

 

He was the brother of Rebekah J. Delcore and her husband Damon of West Warwick, and BJ Brackett of Kingston, RI. Jay was the uncle of Nicholas E. Brackett, Jillian M. Decena, Lauren A. Brackett and Nathan Brackett. Jay is also survived by six nieces and nephews.


A Memorial gathering will be scheduled in the Summer of 2022. Memorial donations to Phoenix House, 251 Main St., Exeter, RI 02822 would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) in Coventry. iannottifh.com
