JAY ANDREW GOLDING

GOLDING, JAY ANDREW, 56, of Pawtucket and formerly of West Warwick, passed at home, unexpectedly, on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of Jean A. (Wessel) Iasimone of West Warwick and the late Wallace A. Golding.

Jay was employed as a machine operator for many years at various manufacturing companies before retiring due to health concerns. He was an avid New England professional sports fan, he also enjoyed watching professional wrestling.

Besides his mother, he leaves a son, Andrew J. Belmore of West Warwick; two sisters Barbara A. Matteson and her husband Wayne of West Warwick, and Lisa M. Card and her husband Steven of Hopkinton. Jay was the brother of the late Jeffrey S. Golding and Stephen W. Golding. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jay’s life will be held on a future date to be announced this Summer. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT in Coventry. iannottifh.com
