JEANNETTE L. LAMELIN

LAMELIN, JEANNETTE L. (BRINDAMOUR), 85, formerly of Coventry, passed away peacefully at The Greenwood Center, succumbing to Alzheimer’s Disease after a long and courageous battle. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Lamelin. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Rosaire L. and M. Corana (Soucy) Brindamour. 

Jeannette worked for many years in the textile industry. She enjoyed having a glass of wine and always made room for dessert. 

She is survived by two sons, Donald R. (Kim) and Dennis L. Lamelin. Jeannette was the grandmother of Courtney Matteson and Robert Lamelin; great-grandmother of Logan Matteson. She is also survived by her sister, Eveline Desplaines (Raymond) of Woonsocket.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 7, at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Church, 124 Legris Ave., West Warwick. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jeannette’s honor can be made to the Rhode Island Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org/ri) would be appreciated. Arrangements are by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
