Obituary

ORTOLEVA, JEFFREY A., 67, of Poppin John Lane, Coventry, passed away at home on Friday, September 9, 2022, with his loving wife of 38 years Beverly H. (Logan) Ortoleva by his side. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Nicholas F. and Lorraine (Dickens) Ortoleva.

Jeffrey graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, class of 1973. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology graduating Summa Cum Laude from Providence College in 1977. However, his greatest passion in life was to be a baker. Jeffrey was employed as a baker at the Original DePetrillo's Bakery in Providence for over 25 years.

He was the brother of William E. Ortoleva of Virginia, Matthew T. Ortoleva of Shrewsbury, MA., and the late Steven N. Ortoleva. He was the uncle of Alesandra Paolino Ottone, Michael Ortoleva, Nicholas & Thomas Ortoleva and Scott Logan.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3), Coventry.
