JOANNE FRANZONE

FRANZONE, JOANNE, 74, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was the loving wife of 28 years to Frank Franzone. 

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Cosimo and Angelina (Bronco) Comello. 

Before moving to Coventry, Joanne grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island. She worked for many years at the former T. Sardelli & Sons Jewelry Company. Joanne enjoyed reading, was a longtime fan of Elvis Presley, and loved spending her Sundays sharing dinners full of love and laughter with her family.  

Joanne was the loving mother of Angela M. Mulvey, her husband Gregory of Coventry; adoring grandmother of Amanda Mulvey and her fiancée Tyler. Sister and lifelong best friend of Teresa Carr. Joanne is also survived by her very dear friend, Jayme, and her beloved feline companion, “Peanut”. 

Visitation will be held Friday morning, June 20, 2025, from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry, with a funeral service to commence at 11:00 AM. Burial is respectfully private.
